Shukura Irwin is a highly experienced speech-language pathologist with over a decade in the field. She has helped individuals across the age continuum, from children to teens, adults, and the geriatric population. Shukura has provided services in a variety of settings: outpatient clinics, skilled nursing and long-term acute care facilities, acute and specialty hospitals, as well as well as in virtual/tele-health platforms.

Shukura is trained in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS), with six years of experience and counting in oncology rehabilitation. She is an expert in the evaluation and and treatment of individuals with head and neck cancer, brain tumors, those suffering from cognitive-communication deficits, and chemo brain.
