Alexa became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2018. She became an SLP to improve the quality of life of individuals by giving them their ideal means to communicate. Being a neurodivergent SLP, she knows how hard it can be to communicate feelings and engage with others socially. She strives to give all of her clients a safe space to work on their communication skills free of judgement! She’s currently completing her Autism specialty certification through PESI, inc. She has also given in-service presentations regarding topics such as patient advocacy, AAC integration, and supervision of graduate students with disabilities. She has worked in settings such as pediatric outpatient clinics, schools, and hospitals. She would describe her clinical style as holistic, functional, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

Erica Thomas is a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist with both a B.S. and M.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, backed by over 10 years of diverse clinical experience. Shukura Irwin is a highly experienced speech-language pathologist with over a decade in the field. She has helped individuals across the age continuum, from children to teens, adults, and the geriatric population. Shukura has provided services in a variety of settings: outpatient clinics, skilled nursing and long-term acute care facilities, acute and specialty hospitals, as well as well as in virtual/tele-health platforms.
Shukura is trained in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS), with six years of experience and counting in oncology rehabilitation. She is an expert in the evaluation and and treatment of individuals with head and neck cancer, brain tumors, those suffering from cognitive-communication deficits, and chemo brain. In addition to her certification of clinic competence from ASHA, Shukura is a certified Head & Neck Lymphedema specialist with the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy.
Stephanie is a speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience. She has worked in hospitals, schools, and private practice. She specializes in pediatrics working with kids of all ages to improve their communication skills. She is the mother of three busy children, two girls and one boy. She understands the complexity behind obtaining speech therapy services and diligently works with families to help them navigate through this process.
